Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy explains what information DialClient collects, why, and the choices you have. DialClient is a lead-generation tool: a Chrome extension and a website that find public LinkedIn posts in which a company asks for a vendor, agency, supplier or freelancer.
1. Information about you (account holders)
- Account details: your name and email address, and a securely hashed password if you do not sign in with Google or Microsoft. Your registered email cannot be changed from the app.
- Profile and company details you choose to add: phone, designation, LinkedIn profile, city, company name, website, industry, locations and what you need. These are used to match leads to your business and to fill in your outreach messages.
- Devices and sessions: a device identifier, browser type and sign-in times, used to enforce the one-device-per-plan rule and to let you sign out other devices.
- Billing: plan, dates and payment references. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
- Messages you send us through the contact form.
2. Information in the posts DialClient collects
The extension reads posts that are visible to you while you are signed in to LinkedIn, at a normal browsing pace. For a post that looks like a vendor requirement it keeps:
- the post text, the link to the post and the time it was posted;
- the author's name, headline and public profile link;
- any email address, phone number or WhatsApp link that the author wrote in the post.
DialClient does not look up private data, does not guess or enrich contact details from other sources, and never sends messages, likes or connection requests on your behalf.
DialClient Agent (community sharing). While you browse LinkedIn with the extension, posts that look like a vendor requirement and fit any DialClient category or any member's business profile are also added to Global Leads, credited to “DialClient Agent”. Other members never see who contributed a post. We keep the contributing account privately to prevent abuse. These posts do not use any of your plan's posts. You can switch this off at any time in the extension (Find leads → DialClient Agent).
3. How the information is used
- To show you your leads and the shared live feed of requirements found by all users.
- On the Free plan, Global Leads and the live feed are blurred: post text, names, profile links, emails and phone numbers of other users' leads are hidden.
- On Pro, the contact details of global leads (post link, profile link, email, phone and name) become visible at 6 PM India time on the day the post was found.
- To classify posts. If the site owner has enabled AI, post text is sent to the selected AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) only to classify the post and extract its details.
- To run billing, prevent abuse (for example rate limits and fake-post reports) and answer your messages.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
4. Removal requests
If a post you wrote appears in DialClient and you want it removed, email privacy@dialclient.com with the post link. We remove it from the feed and from our database, usually within 3 business days.
5. Keeping data safe
- Passwords are stored as salted scrypt hashes; sessions use random tokens in an HttpOnly cookie.
- All pages are served with security headers (Content-Security-Policy, X-Frame-Options, nosniff) and HTTPS on the live site.
- Sign-in, contact and AI endpoints are rate-limited.
6. How long we keep data
Account data is kept while your account is active. Leads stay in your account until you delete them. If you close your account, we delete your personal details within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting.
7. Your choices
You can edit your profile and company details in Settings, delete leads, sign out other devices, cancel your membership, and ask us to export or delete your data by writing to privacy@dialclient.com.
8. Cookies
DialClient uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and stores your theme, country and view preferences in your browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell signed-in users about important changes in the dashboard.
Questions: contact us or write to privacy@dialclient.com. DialClient is not affiliated with LinkedIn.
